Shift/s Available for this Position:

A shift (Monday through Friday) 6:50 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Performs predictive and preventive maintenance on facilities equipment.
• Maintains safe work areas and equipment.
• Complies with and promotes company safety policy, procedures, PPE, training, etc.
• Ensures all work, conforms to local, state and federal rules and regulations.
• Maintains Building, HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems.
• Timely execution for assigned work orders and service calls ensures high degree of customer satisfaction.
• Maintains and ensures Plant Fire systems are always in good working condition to ensure Fire Safety for all Hitachi Astemo employee’s visitors and contractors.
• Inspects all fire extinguishers on a regular monthly schedule.
• Maintain and repair all HVAC equipment and components to manufactures recommendation, i.e. valves, motors, belts, bearings, filters, and lubrication etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Three (3) or more years of experience with facility maintenance maintaining HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems desired.
• Self-motivated problem solver with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Forklift and scissor lift experience preferred.
• IATF 116949 knowledge preferred.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.

HVAC Specific Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in HVAC or similar or equivalent in years’ experience greater than 5 years.
• State HVAC license and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification for refrigerants

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to push, pull and move equipment and/or supplies in excess of 50 pounds. Must be able to distinguish colors.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Inside plant & outside environment. Require

d to use safety glasses and wear steel toe shoes while performing specific tasks or while in specific manufacturing areas.
