We are an established cannabis producer/processor in Spokane Valley seeking an onsite maintenance technician who has experience with light construction.

This job is ideal for someone who is:

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm, ability to work weekends required however most hours will fall between Monday-Friday.

Starting wage range is $15.84-$16.94 at entry level, though we are able to offer a more competitive wage depending on your qualifications and experience!

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be over 21 to apply.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must have experience with tools, ability to discern the correct tool for the job.
  • Must be able to take direction from supervisors.
  • Must work well with others and be a communicative team player.
  • Certification(s) for or in construction or facility maintenance highly desired.
  • Demonstrate quality workmanship.
  • Demonstrate problem solving and decision making abilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrated construction or facility maintenance experience.
  • Must be familiar with hand tools, power tools, man lifts and fork lifts.
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Routinely inspects the facility for cleanliness and proper operation.
  • Maintain equipment in good, safe and working order.
  • Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on work surfaces, tools, and related equipment to ensure systems are well maintained.
  • Perform interior and exterior custodial duties as needed. Including laundry, sweeping, removing snow from sidewalks, wet mop and operating vacuum, cleaning bathrooms, gather trash and empty trash receptacles.
  • Operate a variety of equipment to perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and maintain cleanliness of the facilities.

OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED:

  • May include but not limited to assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work such as harvesting, trimming, packaging, cleaning, and light maintenance as needed throughout the facility.
  • Identifies, troubleshoots, and makes repairs to the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as any structural elements of the facility.
  • Performs a variety of maintenance/minor repair activities on the interior/exterior areas of the facilities including, but not limited to: painting, drywall, structural elements, including parking lot and sidewalks, plumbing repairs, clears drain stoppages, interior and exterior lighting including lamp, fuse and ballast.
  • Periodically inspect air handling units, tighten or replace belts, replace filters and grease components. Maintain logs to document activity.

SUPERVISION:

  • Works under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Lead and Manager of Facilities.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Manufacturing and warehouse setting with varying degrees of temperature changes and moderate noise.
  • Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Able to kneel, bend, reach, rotate, climb ladders, and stoop on an intermittent to regular basis daily.
  • Adhere to all work safety requirements including but not limited to: wearing task specific PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, and masks when required, following proper ladder procedures, and operating forklift and scissor lifts according to regulated guidelines.
  • Wearing protective clothing when working with or around the plants and remove protective clothing before exiting the facility.
