Job Title: IA RMF Specialist
Location: Langley, AFB

Job Duties Include:

  • The Contractor shall advise the Government on IA and C&A best practices to support current and planned technologies and methodologies to enhance the effectiveness and security of the application and/or network.
  • Provide policy and technical guidance on C&A of IT systems.
  • Assist in interpreting and refining government Cyber Security guidance and constraints and integrating them into draft concepts, tactics, techniques and procedures for implementation.
  • Advise the Government on IA and C&A best practices on current and emerging technologies.
  • Evaluate and provide certification assessment of software products for minor modification determination and identified risk, testing and recommendations.
  • Provide feedback to improve products and processes to senior team members and/or management.
  • Coordinate with other staff agencies in DoD, SAF, and MAJCOM levels on C&A and IA requirements.
  • Assist ACC PMOs with IA related items required under the Federal Information Systems
  • Management Act (FISMA).
  • Provide certification and accreditation support for ACC sponsored systems/enclaves proposed capabilities.
  • Provide support, inputs, and documentation for effective project management of network related programs and projects.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Three (3) years’ experience working in a military office environment with previous Department of Three (3) years’ experience providing eMASS user training and account administration for the MAJCOM. Need to be familiar with XACTA capabilities.
  • Bachelor's Degree in security management, computer systems, network engineering or related field.
  • Five (5) years’ experience as IA Manager (IAM) which includes DoD & Air Force Information Assurance policy, guidelines, and principles.
  • Five (5) years’ experience with creating and transitioning to DIACAP and RMF packages spanning multiple Area Processing Centers (APC), and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) controls across the Enterprise.
  • Four (4) years’ experience with Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), eMASS and experience with Enterprise Information Technology Data Repository (EITDR) and DISA System Network Approval Process (SNAP).
  • Information Assurance (IA) Management Level II (i.e., Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP); Global Information Assurance Security Leadership Certification (GSLC); Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification) IAW DoDD 8570; Information Assurance Training, Certification, and Workforce Management; and DoDD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, is required.
  • Experience using Microsoft-suite of applications tools, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and SharePoint.
