Veridian Fire Protective Gear is looking for motivated people with an interest in industrial or personal sewing. Veridian's Des Moines location produces military gloves and Fire Fighting garments. If your application meets our minimum requirements, we will reach out and invite you in for an interview and tour of our plant. Sewing experience preferred but not required. We have a training program.
Duties:
- Sewing components of gloves together (Leather and Fabric)
- Sewing components of garments together (Fabric)
- Sew product in accordance to instruction from team leads
- Ensure correct labeling of gloves and garments as they are produced
- Inspect and evaluate the quality of products produced
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to sit for long periods of time
- Reliable and able to work on a team environment
- Strong hand eye coordination
- Prior industrial sewing experience a plus
- Personal sewing experience a plus
Schedule:
- Monday- Thursday 6:00AM - 4:30PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $16.75 per hour
