You will have a variety of responsibilities in this newly created position including:
- Qualify and move sales leads from cold call through process for disqualification or conversion. Execute campaign assignments to measured outcomes to maximize sales opportunities and full utilization of outside sales resources
- Execute daily calls to gather market intelligence and communicate benefit of Robroy and Robroy products to influence customers and potential customers.
- Enhance product sales and margins through application of product knowledge and delivery capabilities
- Aggressively pursue, coordinate, and establish key channel, market, and end customer contacts and relationships to ensure robust, target-based, growth in sales revenue
- Input, track, and manage all aspects of sales data, including data integrity, in quote system to ensure meaningful and quality follow-ups on leads and opportunities with validated market intelligence
- Coordinate and support outside sales function with market intelligence, sales reports, sales activities, customer research and scheduling to help the team be effective, efficient, and informed
- Coordinate activities and knowledge between assigned outside sales resources, pricing specialist, customer service and other functional areas of the business to meet organizational goals and ensure customer satisfaction
What we need from you:
Make outbound calls to gather information and begin sales process
Aggressively pursue, coordinate and establish key contact and relationships to grow sales revenue
Analyze market information from external sources websites, social media
Educate market on Robroy value-propositions when promoting/selling product solutions
Execute on leads & opportunities generated to fully utilize brand strategy in alignment with sales and marketing objectives
Lead projects
Work effectively with our team to accomplish goals
Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% for sales calls with outside sales rep, trade-shows, etc.

Having mechanical aptitude is helpful
Excellent time management skills
This position is a remote position. Prefer the ability to report to our Belding, Michigan location regularly.
Willing to do what it takes for the team to be successful.
Requirements include:
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills
- One or more years sales experience in product/manufacturing environment
- Prior outbound sales experience (ex: telemarketing)
- One or more years’ experience working within Sales Channels,(Manufacturing Reps, Distribution, etc.) preferred
- Good Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP software skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities and requests while maintaining a culture of accountability and execution
- Degree in Business, Engineering or Related Field preferred
- Knowledge of fiberglass, polycarbonate and electrical enclosures preferred
