Total annual compensation range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000.

Actual base pay will be determined based on a successful candidate's work location, skills/abilities, experience, and education. This role includes opportunity to receive an annual bonus target of 10% of annual eligible earnings. Actual bonus amounts are determined by length of time in role, individual performance, and organizational performance.

We are looking for candidates who live in the Melbourne, FL area, and who can work onsite several times per week.

The Job

The Manager, Member Development (Inside Sales) is responsible for managing a team of Member Development Specialists (MDS), with responsibilities including, but not limited to: driving results, coaching, implementing policies and procedures, researching and staying current with competitor trends, and monitoring staff. It is expected that the manager will exhibit passion in regard to Christian Care Ministry's services and will instill and require the same passion among team members..

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead in creating and achieving team and individual performance goals
  • Interview and assist in the hiring of candidates for employment
  • Lead in the disciplinary action process when employee concerns arise and the termination process when necessary
  • Motivate, train, and develop employees on procedures and performance goals and expectations
  • Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress reports of MDS telephone calls, Sales activities, and Medi-Share applications received
  • Lead weekly MDS meetings, 1:1s, and team huddles: communicating changes in procedures, updates on products, best practices, and review any changes to the Medi-Share guidelines
  • Assist in updating the department's Knowledge Base and training material
  • Participate in departmental and interdepartmental meetings
  • Verify and approve employees' work hours
  • Contribute to the exercise and expression of Christian Care Ministry's Christian beliefs
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Essential Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge and hands-on skills to explain all products in Christian Care Ministry's product suite, and Health Partnership guidelines to prospects and staff members
  • Working knowledge of Member Development Specialist team processes and procedures
  • Experience managing and optimizing the performance metrics of a phone-based sales environment
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as guidelines and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of members or associates of organization
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to interpret charts and other statistics presented in graph or written form
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Basic computer skills
  • Typing skills of at least 35 wpm
  • Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or comparable work-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 1+ years of experience working in a call-center environment (with a focus on telesales) required
  • 3-5 years' of Sales management experience within a call center environment preferred

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This job has supervisory responsibilities: you will be expected to supervise a team of ~14 employees
