ChampionX is seeking a Inside Sales Representative located in Midland/Odessa TX, or Boulder, CO. This role plays a fundamental part in ensuring business growth alignment between the outside sales teams and customer support. The main responsibility of the Inside Sale Specialist is to be the liaison between our end-users, customer service teams, and outside sales teams while building relationships and collaborating with multiple internal and external customers through email and phone communications.

What You Will Do:

  • Support the sales and operation managers in the Emissions Technologies group within ChampionX.

  • Liaison between our end-users, channel partners, and outside sales teams while building relationships and collaborating with support and services teams through email, phone, and in person communication

  • Assist Sales Representatives with start-ups of new applications for both existing customers and new accounts.

  • Provide support to customers; identifying and resolving customer pain points, escalating as required.

  • Possible travel within assigned sales territory 10%.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Enable growth by providing the Outside Sales team with quotations, technical answers/solutions, and order management support.

  • Liaison with sales, engineering, manufacturing, operations, and external representatives to optimize business.

  • Support all customer service functions and assist as needed.

  • Develop strong customer relationships to ensure the growth of existing accounts.

  • Provide kick-off meetings, technical dashboard training and reoccurring check-in meetings to clients.

  • Communicate customer feedback for customer experience information and future product development.

  • Manage internal and external resources to ensure sales quotes are accurate and on time.

  • Process purchase order quotes; enter and book sales orders in Oracle

  • Contact the customer to confirm the delivery date and request any missing information such as site coordinates, site point of contact(s), gate codes, etc.

  • Undertake project tasks and other duties as required

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate degree

  • 3-4 years of inside sales admin experience or customer relations

  • Ability to multitask

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal business systems)

  • Salesforce (or other CRM) Experience

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience and knowledge of ESG, emissions, or atmospheric science

  • 5 years of experience in a related field

  • History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation

  • Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task

  • Prior experience that required excellent organizational skills

Physical Demands:

  • Minimal bending, lifting to 10lbs, reaching, twisting, stretching, pushing, pulling up to 10%.

  • Frequent standing and walking between 33% and 66%.

  • Constant collating/filing, using a keyboard, dialing, sitting, seeing, hearing, writing, and speaking greater than 66%.

Starting Salary Range - $26.50 - $31.25
