Job Summary:
- The Inside Sales Team Lead is responsible for selling to new and existing customers within an assigned region(s) in North America. Position is focused on generating incremental business within existing accounts, prospecting/selling to new accounts and developing relationships over the phone. Individual works in partnership with field Territory Sales Managers and assist with the implementation of strategic plans, aggressively implementing actions to achieve results that meet or exceed annual sales targets/goals. Reporting directly to the Inside Sales Manager, this position will make a minimum number of new customer calls per day, in addition to completion of follow up calls.
The Inside Sales Team Lead will assume responsibility for coaching and mentoring a select set of Inside Sales Reps to continue to help their performance. The Team Lead will also assist the Inside Sales Supervisor and Inside Sales Manager with onboarding new teammates, role playing and any IT support with Salesforce and Salesloft. The Team Lead will be expected to maintain their own region(s) performance during this time.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contact potential customers to understand client needs and discuss value of ZimVie dental products and services.
- Classify potential customers using CRM data, conversations with field Territory Sales Managers, following internal and external leads and performing customer research.
- Work in partnership with Area Sales Director, Regional Sales Managers, Regenerative Sales Specialist(s) and Territory Sales Managers to perform lead generation. Full sale of specific products to be done by Inside Sales Rep with more complex solution leads provided to field sales partner.
- Effectively qualify potential customers by performing needs analysis to better understand customer needs.
- Perform data entry into CRM tool, maintaining customer records, tracking phone calls and reporting business development activity to Inside Sales Manager.
- Set up coaching calls with selected team members to assist them in reaching their goals.
- Be accountable for own performance while reporting to Inside Sales Supervisor and Inside Sales Manager any concerns.
- Assist with onboarding new hires, role playing and any IT support with Salesforce and Salesloft.
Expected Areas of Competence:
- Knowledge of basic business principles of marketing and selling services, including sales techniques and market research.
- Knowledge of customer needs analysis, quality standards and customer services principles.
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software, specifically CRM tools.

Education/ Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or business-oriented field combined with at least two (2) years previous experience working in Healthcare, Service Sales or Inside Sales environment strongly preferred.
- 5 years Inside Sales experience required
