StudentCircle LLC seeks multiple part-time Mathematics Instructors for face-to-face private instruction based in the Pacific Northwest.

Since 2015, StudentCircle has provided the Pacific Northwest with private one-on-one tutoring in a range of subjects including Reading and Writing, Mathematics, Spanish, and Japanese.

We hire teachers as well as teachers-to-be from more unconventional backgrounds in business, science, authorship, etc.

This job posting is for in-person, PNW-based tutors of Mathematics and/or Science subjects, to include:

Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Trig, Stats, Calculus AB, BC, Algebra III, Chemistry, Physics, Derivative and Integral Calculus, and /or more advanced areas of study.

StudentCircle provides positive, respectful, responsible, and knowledgeable tutors for in-person, one-on-one education online and, in the future, in-home or in public locations. Expect to work with 2-5 students, for one hour each, once per week for a total of 2 - 10 hours. Work is speculative and based on local need. The majority of students will seek instruction outside of normal school and work hours so afternoon/ evening and weekend availability are preferred. We typically arrange for in-person tutoring in Cafes and Libraries, in addition to in-home, so drivers are preferred.

StudentCircle wages for in-person tutoring scale up, over time. Past tutoring experience is great but do not be discouraged if you are new to tutoring; many of our best tutors are first-time teachers with a knack for teaching.

Pay: $27.26 - $34.33 per hour
