About this position

Provides customer service to clients of Blaze Home & Community Services by registering subscribers, scheduling and completing installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of home safety equipment.


What we’ll expect from you

  • Receives installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting requests from staff.
  • Provides service in client's home per home safety equipment protocols.
  • Tests equipment to ensure proper functioning
  • Instructs client on the use of the equipment
  • Delivers, replaces, and removes home safety equipment as needed
  • Collaborates with equipment vendor to ensure appropriate equipment inventory
  • Maintains and cleans equipment
  • Enters and updates initial and existing subscriber information into electronic records.
  • Provides telephone support to new and existing customers
  • Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.

Education

  • High School degree or equivalent (GED)

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • One year experience dealing with the public. Experience working with elderly or disabled preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and phone skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle insurance.

Licensure/Certification(s) Mandatory

Current Driver's license in state of residence and acceptable driving record - BH Standard
