Percent of Time/Week:
Manages and provides coaching and feedback for educational leaders from UNI Leadership programs, Leadership Camps, Think Tanks, and Teacher Leader workshops; responsible for determining the coaching materials used and for training future additional coaches. Develops criteria for the Leading with Character mini-grants; collaborates with the Director to manage and facilitate the implementation of the Kern Family Foundation Leading and Learning with Character grant; and works to recruit and advertise programming by representing the University of Northern Iowa, the College of Education, and the Institute of Educational Leadership.
Education Requirements:
Master's degree in Education required.
Required Qualifications:
At least five years of experience in K-12 public education required.
Desirable Qualifications:
Master's degree in Educational Leadership; experience in Character Education; familiarity with the Iowa Standards for School Leadership, K-12 education in Iowa, adult professional development and delivery, implementation of grants, character education, and/or Iowa School Leadership mentoring preferred.
