Job Purpose and Impact

The Regional Instrument Reliability Supervisor will provide subject matter expertise and leadership in the development and execution of Instrument maintenance programs across the region to proactively measure and improve instrument health and availability. You will oversee and execute instrumentation standards, standardized work processes, solutions, and measurements to increase production quality, efficiency, and volume for the business. In this role, you will supervise a team that executes activities to measure and improve instrumentation reliability for the region.

Key Accountabilities

Develop, improve and execute Instrument maintenance programs and Instrument Reliability Capabilities across the region to proactively monitor and improve instrument health and availability by delivering technical education, coaching and talent management.
Collaborate with leadership to execute compliance of instrument engineering standards, policies, procedures, and job aids with regulatory standards and align to global, regional and industry standards.
Monitor and execute accountability measures and reporting mechanisms to monitor the performance against benchmark metrics and foster effective utilization and integrity of automated tools and systems.
Implement the tactical development and delivery oversight of vision, direction, and strategy for instrument reliability engineering.
Supervise and promote instrument reliability programs and policies within the region in alignment with global and industry standards.
Consolidate overall analysis and propose recommendations for areas of improvement and implement solutions to improve performance within acceptable risk tolerance.
Oversee advanced support for instrument engineering deliverables in capital projects.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of four years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of reliability centered maintenance, planning and scheduling.
Eight years of working experience in instrumentaon, such as temperature, flow, pH, O2, pressure, and control valves.
Two years of supervisory experience
Instrumentaon knowledge of SIS systems, SIL rated devices, IS instrumentaon, and area electrical classificaons.
Knowledge of industry standards such as ISA 18.2, ISA 88, NFPA 70, NFPA 85, NFPA 86, IEC 61131, IEC 61508 and
IEC 61511.
Ability to translate highly technical informaon across all levels of technical knowledge
Technical gap assessment and soluon idenficaon
Experience with Emerson AMS Device Manager.
Experience in idenfying and addressing poor performing assets.
Experience in developing and execung calibraon strategies for instrumentaon.
Cerfied Control System Technician Level III qualified
Lean six sigma
Process safety management experience
