Insurance Sales Rep
We are seeking a passionate, self-driven, natural-born salesperson with a desire to make a difference in people’s lives. As a licensed Insurance Sales Representative, you will be part of a team that is helping to grow the revenue of the office by offering products that people need for their security and peace of mind. You will pursue and respond to the requests and needs of prospects and current clients who need insurance. You will also be trained to act as a consultant for businesses and families, evaluating needs and recommending the most appropriate means of meeting those needs.
Responsibilities:
Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales
Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, and Auto Dealers
Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources
Grow sales revenue by utilizing phone, email, and marketing
Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity
Provide exceptional customer service
Process customer policy change requests
Stay up to date on new Farmers Insurance products
Requirements:
Obtain CA Property & Casualty license & *CA Life & Health license Recommended but not required (we pay for the licensing training)
Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful, and coachable
Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency
Cultivate relationships with new clients and nurture those relationships with current clients
Proficiency in multi-task, follow-thru, and follow-up
Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills
Must be highly self-motivated and Career-minded
Benefits and Pay:
Hourly base pay plus commission (Competitive base pay depends on experience)
After one year of service or less under an agent and $100,000 in premium sales, you will then be eligible to open your own Farmers Insurance Agency. No capital requirement and start with 500-1000 policies for immediate residual income

Pay: $48,368.00 - $117,702.00 per year
