Intake Coordinator Job at iStaff Recruits
iStaff Recruits is seeking an INTAKE COORDINATOR for an amazing home care agency in Queens. The ideal candidate will have 1+ year(s) working in the home care agency, experience with HHA Plus, and excellent communication skills.
We are seeking someone who will be very hands-on with our patients, they are like family to us. Encourage them to get up, walk around, and live an active healthy life!
You will be required to be able to work with multiple insurance representatives, pay huge attention to detail, effectively fill out forms, and ensure patients are informed of every step of their enrollment process for homecare services.
Responsibilies Include:
- Receive referrals from referral sources and need to verify patient's insurance to determine eligibility.
- Notify patients of services we provide & the process of enrollment
- Send referral to MLTCs for potential enrollment or Medicaid assistance
- Send referral to appropriate CHHA for skilled services
- Determine what services were approved by insurance
- Ensure Agency receives authorization for MLTC cases
- provide case specifics to Agency's HHA Coordination Department
