Intake Coordinator for Home Health Job at Independence Home Health LLC
WHAT WE NEED
A healthcare professional with a customer service or business-support background to serve as our intake coordinator. Home Health experience a huge plus. This is an office job in Nineveh. All current home health intake personnel encouraged to apply.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The individual for this intake role will be an integral part of our day-to-day operation, meeting with case managers, hospitals, rehab facilities and families to understand needs of potential clients in our region. The individual should be a compassionate person, able to convey empathy and provide next-step direction for families who need assistance in caring for their loved ones.
WHAT IT TAKES
· Basic knowledge of home health (at least one year) and a quick study to understand home health regulations.· Ability to handle multiple cases at the same time.· A motivated person who revels in his/her ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.· Excellent verbal skills; the ability to carry on meaningful conversations to fully develop relationships.· Skilled at keeping records of contacts on spreadsheets.· Knowledge of patient billing, Medicare and Medicaid resources as it pertains to coding.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a high school diploma and be at least 18 years of age in accordance with state regulations.Must have a driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Rate for this role would be $31,000 to $35,000 annually, depending on experience.
