If you are an iOps Center professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Round Rock, TX location, you will provide perfect execution of all customer and Emerson Executive meetings conducted in the Emerson’s Integrated Operations and Executive Briefing Center. In addition, this individual will also help maintain demos for use by the global sales force.

AS AN iOPS CENTER MANAGER YOU WILL:

• Help drive positive buying decisions by ensuring visits leave prospects with the perception that Emerson is their best choice for their next automation project.
• Create a world-class customer experience including the latest Emerson technology and investigate emerging disruptive technologies of the future.
• Ensure that Emerson technologies can be demonstrated in a way that helps close the deal.
• Demonstrate technologies that enable Digital Transformations our customers are seeking to execute.
• Facilitate the development of Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) demonstration scenarios for all our served markets for the global sales force to use.
• Promote the principles of Integrated Operations in the context of any customer, applicable to any industry or vertical.
• Maximize Emerson content to include other Business Units to demonstrate a One Emerson solution.
• Maintain the Center with latest technology Emerson has to offer and be able to deliver customer-facing demos of unreleased technology that appears fully integrated.
• Prepare and deliver demos to customers and internal stakeholders including executive leadership (all the way to CEO).

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• A minimum of 6 years combined of direct experience in the process control and technical computer disciplines with deep knowledge of automation project implementation practices across our target industries
• Strong knowledge and experience with DeltaV
• Process industry knowledge to enable effective positioning of Emerson solutions
• Must be comfortable presenting to customers whose roles include Operators, Process Engineers, Safety Engineers, Technicians, and Executive Management
• Willingness and ability to travel (10-30%)
  

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical
• A minimum of 8 years combined of direct experience in the process control and technical computer disciplines with deep knowledge of automation project implementation practices across our target industries.
• A minimum of 4 years of DeltaV experience
• Have experience doing DeltaV projects
• Experience developing DeltaV control strategies and HMI
• Knowledge/Application of Virtualization infrastructure & environments
• Knowledge/Application of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)
• Knowledge/Application of the following:
  • Batch and ISA 88 and 95 is a bonus
  • APC (Advanced Process Control)
  • AMS Device Manager
  • Plantweb Optics
  • DeltaV Mobile
