About this opportunity:
Integration Engineer will work with Ericsson’s 4G (E-UTRAN) and 5G (NR) access networks’ latest deployments, functionality and features focusing on User Equipment and Device Verification services.
What you will do:
- Functional and Performance testing including executing/reviewing/analysis of feature test content and specifications
- Test specification work can include creating/updating/reviewing test documents (i.e., test plans, test cases, test reports, feature specification, instructions, etc.)
- Fault investigation/reporting which includes cooperation with other teams and customers
- Familiar with the device testing tools, analysis and methods linked to activity
- Consults, supports, and collaborates with team members on testing/verification as needed
- Provide technical support to internal and external customers as needed
You will bring:
- MS or BS in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication, Computer Science, or an equivalent degree
- At least 3+ years industry related experience preferred
- Ability to understand and evaluate 3GPP specifications
- Knowledge of 3GPP LTE and NR Networks
- Knowledge of NR Networks Modes (NSA and SA)
- 3GPP Network/Infrastructure, User Equipment, and 3rd Party Testing
- Experience with chipset, wireless devices & networks testing, verification and troubleshooting
- Proficient with 5G SA components.
- Understand, configure, and deploy CEE or CNIS, ECCD, EVNFM, CCRC, CCSM, CCDM, PCC, DTG
- Proficient on Kubernetes in a 5G SA system.
- Proficient 5G SA AMF, SMF ,UPF configurations and integration for voice and data calls.
- Network configuration and integration of EPS to 5G SA.
- DNS expertise to support 4G/5G system for voice and data calls.
- Trace analysis on the 5G SA system for voice and data calls.
- Basic RAN configuration to the 5G SA system.
- Proficient with 4G/LTE components.
- Configuration and integration.
- Upgrade MME and EPG systems.
- Ericsson Enterprise Core knowledge is a plus.
