Overview
As our company continues to grow and technology advances, the synchronization of information and data systems is becoming increasingly important. As the IT Integration Engineer at Millwork Brands, you will be concerned with the interoperability of the overall system, bridging any gaps to keep business operations running efficiently and maximizing their performance.
Key Responsibilities
· Reports to the Director of IT
· Work with business units to gather and understand system requirements
· Research, evaluate, and recommend systems, equipment and technologies to support business initiatives
· Develop, test, and implement custom applications, processes, dashboards, spreadsheets, and/or reports to maximize business productivity
· Regularly work with our ERP systems to become the primary internal support
· Likewise, support and train users in other mission-critical software
Skills / Qualifications
· Works well in team situations
· Passionate and motivated; willing to work overtime on occasion for the sake of user experience
· Excellent oral and written communication skills; translate technical issues to users
· Can self-organize and prioritize workload
· Methodical approach to solving problems
· Ability to visualize and implement out-of-the-box technical solutions
· Working knowledge of database platforms like SQL Server
· Understanding of data warehouse concepts; specifically, how to connect disparate systems and expose data through queries, APIs and/or ODBC
· Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Power BI
· Associates degree in Computer Science or at least five years related work experience
· Previous programming experience is preferred
