Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain a case load of 2-4 families and provide individually tailored, strength-based, and collaborative case planning services
• Maintain intensive in-home contact, service provision, and therapeutic rapport with families for a minimum of 10-15 hours per week per family
• Develop, teach, model and evaluate effective techniques and interventions with parents/caretakers
• Ensure accurate, thorough, and timely completion and filing of progress notes
• Fulfill other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services related field with 4 years’ experience providing supportive services to children and their families
• Current NYS Driver’s License and personal vehicle

• Ability to build rapport with youth based on healthy boundaries, effective communication and mutual respect
• Ability to exercise discretion and judgement in decision making
• Ability to demonstrate sensitivity, compassion, patience, and active listening
• Ability to effectively work with individuals from a diverse array of cultural backgrounds, beliefs, customs, and lifestyles

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Human Services related field with 2 years’ experience providing supportive services to children and their families
