BMZ USA Inc. has an opening for an Internal Sales Manager to join our team and become an essential part of our success story.
We are the US subsidiary of BMZ Group, headquartered in Germany with sites all around the world. Our US site is ready to further accelerate its growth and is seeking a reliable and assertive professional who will work with all departments related to fulfilling our customer’s orders, e. g. sourcing, production, planning and shipping in order to satisfy our customer’s needs and request.
Aside from working with our customers on a day to day business, you will also work with our HR manager on selected tasks in the context of recruiting.
POSITION SUMMARY
Executes order fulfillment and administrative tasks in the sales department.
Makes BMZ’s customer’s purchasers happy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Order fulfillment
· Enter sales orders for customer issued purchase orders
· Supply necessary documentation for shipment (e.g. packing slips); track and monitor shipments until delivery
· Obtain freight quotes when needed, and arrange domestic or international import/export shipments
· Invoicing/billing and return processing (sales and service)
· Investigate returns, reconciliation for service
· Provide excellent customer service and communication with customers
· Set up new customer accounts or other data in system as needed
· Provide updates on projects and orders to the customer in a professional and timely manner
· Ensure all sales related data accurately reflects current status
· Assist with administrative tasks in the sales department
· Work closely with the Procurement Department in planning activities to ensure proper inventory levels of products based on customer forecasts
· Issue purchase orders to BMZ branches overseas for product made in BMZ’s overseas facilities; check and approve incoming invoices from respective purchase orders
· Track product and part movement and project process to ensure product is on track
· Support HR department with organizing job interviews
· Additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the Senior Project Coordinator and/or General Manager
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or Associate’s degree with relevant experience
· 3+ years of related experience, and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Must be fluent in English and able to communicate with others effectively.
· Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products; must be proficient in Excel.
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
VALUED BUT NOT REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· Sales support administration experience
· Logistics, International import and export shipping experience
· Proficient in QuickBooks and/or Microsoft D365
· Bi-lingual (preferably German or Chinese)
· Working experience with international manufacturing companies
· Must be organized and able to keep track of tasks
· Be able to easily adapt to execute new tasks
REPORTING TO THIS POSITION
· None
Working hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST., Monday through Friday; occasional overtime and weekend hours may be required.
