Inventory Analyst Job at Carolina Beverage
JOB TITLE: Inventory Analyst - Wednesday - Sunday Shift
Location: Mooresville, NC
Department: Distribution Center
Position Summary:
This position oversees the control of inventory management within the company. They are responsible for digitally preparing inventory for production & generating the proper documentation, overseeing and working with other Inventory Analyst’s as well as the Ingredient Receiving department. This job requires a meticulous eye for detail, strong communication skills & excellent computer skills. This position will work a regular schedule over the weekend.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees finished and raw goods Inventory roles under Ingredient Control Department & Ingredient Receiving team
- Responsible to evaluate and make suggestions for the continuous improvement of processes in area of responsibility.
- Responsible for preparing and managing all customer audits.
- Responsible for kit preparation:
- Printing/verifying batch sheets against production schedule/AX
- Performing AX pre-kitting functions
- Verifying ingredient availability for upcoming runs
- Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory logs and item tracking.
- Works closely with Quality & Ingredient Control to monitor and remove obsolete, expired, or hold items in a timely manner.
- Coordinates and performs regular inventory counts as required by customers and company.
- Verifies clerical computations against physical count of product and adjusts errors in computation or count or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
- Verifies ingredient discrepancies with high dollar value and provide follow up.
- Assist in moving and storing of product as needed.
- Helps coordinates month ending physical & digital inventories.
- This position must work a regular schedule to cover Saturday and Sunday.

- throughout entire shift.
- Prompt return from any and all break periods.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position may require employee to stand hard surfaces for parts of their shift. Also, potential bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Position must be able to communicate with all levels of employees, vendors, customers, and visitors.
TYPICAL WORKING ENVIRONMENT: This position works entirely in a warehouse environment which includes numerous forklifts and cement floors. Noise, dust, and variable temperature may be typical in this work environment. This position also requires working in an office environment which can require sitting for long periods of time.
