How can you grow with Nufarm?
Based in Chicago Heights, IL, Nufarm is looking for an Inventory Analyst reporting to the Materials Manager. This role has responsibility for overseeing the inbound and outbound transactions of material for inventory accuracy as well as performing daily cycle counts. Activities related to the usage of raw materials and flow of materials through the site and actively research inventory issues when they arise. The Inventory Analyst role meticulously investigates all inventory issues regarding floor to system inventory accuracy. Prepares materials for shipment to DC’s as well as process the transfers for the movement of the material off site. Works closely with both the warehouse team and pack lines to ensure accuracy of finished good scans into inventory as well as inventory movement both through the system and physically.
What will you be doing?
Reconcile floor to system accuracy of raw materials and packaging
Daily Cycle counts
Daily transfers of materials off site
Work with other teams to ensure inventory and location accuracy
Participate in on Site Physical Inventories
Work with warehouse and materials team for smooth end of month process
Assist Materials team and act as a backup for tasks such as yard management, Kanban oversight and other tasks as needed.
What do you bring?
You have at least 5 years’ experience with Materials/Inventory in a plant/warehouse setting. The right candidate will be familiar with all aspects of Oracle functionality. Also required is a safety-first mindset. A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management is preferred. Experience with Oracle Inventory Transactions, Shipping, Receiving functions are desirable. Previous physical inventory experience and key performance indicator development and tracking are a plus.
