JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory data in PRMS and providing support as needed in the Inventory department. This requires daily cycle counting and inventory maintenance, packaging, film, condiment, trailers and Finished Goods inventories.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITES

• Timely and accurate inventory of raw materials, packaging, film, and condiments.

• Accurate data entry and file maintenance in PRMS.

• Follow proper documentation procedures in accordance to SOX requirements and other company procedures.

• Interface with production, warehouse, scheduling, purchasing, etc., as needed.

• Inventory variance review, research, and explanation as needed. Also follow-up on findings of that research as corrective actions where appropriate. This also includes MUV research and reports as required or requested by the Accounting department or Inventory Supervisor.

• Report Peco Inventory on a weekly basis and an explanation for any variances.

• Maintain files so that they are readily available for review.

• Communicate with Production, Scheduling, Purchasing, Transportation, Customer Service, and Logistic team on a regular basis (proactive communication and information sharing as needed).
• Operation of powered jacks and forklifts
• Performs other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMAND

Employee is required to stand for prolonged periods of time (duration of the shift, 10 hours or more); perform repetitive motions throughout shift such as: push/pull/lift and move up to 25 pounds, bend continuously, & reach with hands and arms; occasionally crouch, kneel, stoop and/or crawl to pick up product. This position requires ability to keep up in a fast-passed environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is a fast-passed manufacturing warehouse setting. Employee is routinely exposed to wet/cold conditions of roughly 34 degrees Fahrenheit. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud, which requires hearing protection.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Forklift Experience

• Computer Knowledge: Microsoft Word, Excel, AS400a or equivalent

• Good communication skills

• Highly motivated individual who is a self-starter

• Flexible to work weekends, nights, and days as necessary

• Work in a respectful manner and be a team player

• Steel toed shoes

• Available to work a Monday – Saturday schedule
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Polish is a plus
• Must be of 18 years of age and eligible to work the US
