What we need
MAHAR is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to provide in-plant support for our customer in Hazel Park, MI.
High school diploma or GED
1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing, factory or industrial setting
Able to be flexible with customer on-site and adjust to day-to-day changes
Would be great if you had
Has previously worked around tooling equipment and inventory controls
Has experience working with in-plant employees and communicating with external CSR
What you’ll do
Work with customer and vendors to get tooling to the plant when needed.
Perform item plan maintenance
Performs cycle counting of inventory and assists with any discrepancies
Monitors tool levels in assigned program to ensure sufficient stock
Communicates with CSRs on expediting issues with stock outages
May be asked to obtain blueprints that helps in the procurement of tooling
Responsible for assisting in-plant technical personnel on managing cost reductions, testing tools, and any changes
Industry Experience
Automotive, Medical, Mechanical, or Aerospace
