Position Summary:

Fernway’s Inventory Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, assisting with inventory counts daily and weekly, receiving shipments and transferring items between warehouses.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conducting daily inventory cycle counts for cannabis inventory & weekly cycle counts for non-cannabis inventory items, including merchandise and apparel
• Preparing & organizing labels of inventory items within the vault and warehouse
• Receiving shipments of both cannabis and non-cannabis material
• Loading and unloading pallets and boxes onto a box truck
• Driving a box truck between two warehouses
• Assisting in picking & packing of several orders daily
• Maintain inventory par levels in Excel, and update reports daily to inform management
• Provide occasional support with conducting deliveries
• Communicate well with supervisors and other team members
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to take on additional tasks such as warehouse management, deliveries/pickups, packaging, etc., on an as-needed basis

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Experience operating a box truck (26’) with a liftgate
• Experience with warehouse equipment (i.e. pallet jack, forklift)
• Massachusetts Driver’s License
• Must have your own reliable transportation to use between our two locations
• Experience using inventory management software
• Advanced Excel skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain organization in the warehouses
• Flexible work schedule, with the ability to work after-hours as circumstances dictate
• Must be able to pass Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) background check
• A high degree of integrity and ethical conduct always
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter with a positive attitude
• Outstanding verbal and written skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb a ladder up to 12’
