Overview
The Investment Product Specialist is responsible for developing, growing, and supporting the sales of investment products and assets under management offered through MML Investors Services, LLC (MMLISI) for a local financial planning firm. This position reports to the lead advisor of the firm.
Responsibilities
Overall Standards
· Responsible for all firm managed assets for review, meeting preparation and portfolio reviews.
· Responsible for creating client portfolios per client tailored financial goals.
· Participate in the investment component of firm fee base planning
· Manage asset manager / vendor and whole seller relationships.
Product Support
Schedule wholesalers to deliver product training. Develop value added relationships with vendor wholesalers. Provide firm access to prospectuses and sales literature or information on web access for prospectuses and literature. Keep current on product offerings.
Sales Support
Be available for joint fieldwork, assist lead advisor and team members in investment proposals and portfolio design. Participate in the investment component of fee base planning, collaboration with financial department and develop and implement sales campaigns to increase team/firm production.
Broker-Dealer Liaison
· Resource to escalate service needs with MMLISI home office contacts.
· Partners ideas and acts as a process owner for firm investment policy.
· Attend MMLISI B/D sponsored trainings, study groups, and due diligence sessions.
Qualifications (Skills, Education, Training, and Registrations)
Required
· 3-5 years of Financial Advisory experience.
· Series 7 and 63/65 or Series 66 licensed
· Knowledge of the financial products and services and demonstrated passion and interest in financial markets.
· Excellent sales and service skills
· Life and Health licensed preferred, will need to obtain within first 90days

Based on experience

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

- Financial advisory: 3 years (Preferred)
