Change Manager at a large banking client

12 month contract to hire

Remote to start- must sit in Charlotte, NC, Chicago, IL or Dallas, TX

Possibility to turn hybrid in the future

Top requirements:

  • Someone who can help with the re-platforming initiatives. There are several technical PMs within the infra space and they deal with day to day off-building new infra for these apps so they can be deployed. Then the apps teams work on getting the app upgraded to latest version of Java or new container. This person will look at the wholistic POV project where they decide when the project is ready to go from point to point – road mapping – working with app team and getting timelines and how they reach the finish line

– Someone comfortable to hear new terms and ask the right terms

  • 7 yrs of change management experience specifically with re-platforming or cloud upgrading

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Responsible for establishing and managing projects to collectively deliver desired business outcomes. Leads a variety of different types of projects utilizing different methodologies including large scale application development, systems integration, operational efficiency improvements, process reengineering, and remediation of not-permitted technology items, infrastructure upgrade and deployments. May manage multiple projects and have end to end responsibility for the work effort. Responsible for project financials and provide updates on technology deliverables to Exec’s and stake holders

Responsible for end-to-end technology delivery of the assigned project and is the primary point of escalation for technology issues. Drives overall technology execution and manages line of business stakeholder relationships and acts as their advocate throughout the life of the project.

Plans, organizes, monitors and controls projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion. Develop and socialize potential risk mitigation strategies. Effectively communicates with managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed. Partners with business to develop transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change. Ensures deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards. Responsible for financials and project documents. Strong project management skills, with proven ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
