IT Processing Technician

We are currently seeking hard-working
IT Processing Technicians on-site in South Fulton, Georgia to become valuable members of our production team. This is a great entry-level opportunity to join a growing global company. Be Ready To:
- Identify, prioritize, and group hardware components based on technical relevance, generation, physical condition, and internal components while communicating equipment discrepancies
- Pack, wrap, palletize, and prepare all outbound invoices for safe and secure shipment
- Follow strict data sanitization and destruction procedures and regulations when processing data-bearing assets
- Capture and upload all relevant device information into EPC’s proprietary inventory management system
- Work cooperatively with your production team to meet team quotas and goals
- Upskill your professional knowledge with ongoing safety and production trainings
Working Area:
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
Physical
- Must regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds
- Must occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to work an 8-hour shift
- Must be able to regularly bend, twist, reach, and use pallet jack to move IT equipment
- Must be able to handle IT equipment by reading and identifying serial printed letters, numbers, symbols and model information with a small font size
Skills
- Basic computer skills and able to type proficiently
- Must be able to multitask
- Must have good decision making skills
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Experience
- Experience using basic computer software
- Basic math skills to count IT equipment accurately and fast
Personal Skills
- Must be able to use common sense when performing job tasks
- Must be able to meet or exceed production goals and follow procedures
- Must be able to work well with others

High school diploma or equivalent, preferred IT or relevant electronic experience or education are preferred but not required.
