IT Project Engineer (MSP) – Partial Remote
The IT Project Engineer (MSP) – Partial Remote will be joining a white glove service MSP that strives to provide innovative solutions and keep up to date with the most cutting edge technology.
The IT Project Engineer (MSP) – Partial Remote will be looked at as one of the most technical members on the team. The IT Project Engineer (MSP) – Partial Remote will primarily be working in a project based capacity designing solutions and performing cloud migrations. The IT Project Engineer (MSP) – Partial Remote will also serve as a trusted advisor to clients and be a key influencer in internal business decisions.
IT Project Engineer (MSP) – Partial Remote Responsibilities:
- Work with management team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business and technical requirements
- Solution design and implementation of new technologies for clients to meet the business requirements
- Responsible for new client onboardings, client management, and alignment to industry best practices
- Spin up and deploy Windows Servers
- Focus on defining client needs & architecting network solutions, demonstrate capacity to deliver & communicate solutions, & provide QA before client release.
Act as resource for performing discovery/diagnostic phase of technical projects, as well as project documentation reviewer. - Build client relationships & provide advanced technical support for complex issues.
- Act as project lead for complex network infrastructure projects.
- o365 migrations, hybrid cloud migrations, P2V migrations, and V2V migrations
- Manage time against assigned budgets, keep projects on schedule, recommend ways to overcome delays, & ensure that billable hours are logged accurately.
- Mentor Network Consultants and Associate Network Consultants on projects.
IT Project Engineer (MSP) – Partial Remote Desired Skills:
- A minimum of 8 years of recent relevant working experience
- 3+years of MSP Experience REQUIRED
- Strong knowledge of Windows Servers
- Extensive expertise in Office 365 migrations
- Experience build out azure environments
IT Project Engineer (MSP) – Partial Remote Benefits
- Salary: $100,000 – $120,000
- Work from home opportunities available but candidate must live in the greater NYC/NJ area
