IT Service Desk Technician
The candidate will need to be local to the support site.
This is for onsite support, no work from home.
No travel reimbursement.
The IT Service Desk Technician is to provide expert-level support to client end user environments. This is an onsite support role, no work from home. You must have 1-2 years demonstrable skills & experience in a corporate environment.
Responsibilities.
1. Good troubleshooting methodology
3. Professional and courteous demeanor and attire.
4. Good understanding of network fundamentals.
5. Experience with Windows 7, 10, & 11
6. Experience with MacOS and iOS
7. Experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, OneDrive, etc.)
8. Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune, SCCM
9. Experience with ticketing systems
10. Experience with computer imaging.
11. Experience with video conferencing systems.
12. Experience with security software such as multi-factor authentication, Antivirus, web filtering, encryption, etc.
13. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
14. Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
15. A+, Network+, or MCP certification are a plus
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Install and configure workstations and software.
- New user desk setup/take down – monitors, docking station, cable wiring…etc.
- Computer equipment maintenance – Hardware/software update and clean up
- Mobile phone distribution and support with mobile device management software.
- Hardware shipment receiving and distribution – Keyboard, mouse, monitor, printer, docking station…etc.
- Hardware troubleshooting – Keyboard, mouse, monitor, printer, docking station…etc.
- Hardware inventory management
- Network troubleshooting – network ports, ethernet cables
- Software troubleshooting
- Manage work queues in ServiceNow.
- Additional tasks as assigned by the IT manager
Requirements.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Hillsboro, OH 45133: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- IT Help desk: 3 years (Preferred)
