IT Shipping Agent Job at Advanced Call Center Technologies, LLC
Maintain inventory control in the asset management system as packages are received and shipped
Receive and test new and used equipment and take appropriate action to place back in inventory for good equipment and dispose of failing equipment per company policy and procedure
Package and test Agent and employee new hire kits and/or equipment replacements, updating in asset system appropriately and applying the appropriate UPS shipping labels.
Assisting with inventory control including auditing and providing input to inventory levels and ordering process to maintain optimal inventory levels to properly run the business
Must have knowledge of PC hardware (Microsoft Windows- DOS, 2000, XP (Professional), (Microsoft Office Suite- Install, trouble shoot, support end users w/suite, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook (setup exchange users)
Basic networking skills (568a, 568b, Cross Over wiring schemes) adding printers, map network drives, installation, troubleshooting.
Support common ACT productivity software (WinZip, Acrobat, E-fax, FTP, Guide, Oracle Client, Citrix, VNC, etc….
Create and maintain daily reports.
Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience: Minimum 2 year degree or certification(s) in a related field; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
