Description:
We are currently seeking a Level 2 IT Support Technician to join our team. Your main duty will be to provide timely and professional technical assistance to clients who have IT issues. This will involve using phone, email, and remote support to troubleshoot problems related to software and hardware. You will also provide support for various software applications, network connectivity issues, and desktop troubleshooting. This involves remoting into clients’ computers and networks from our office. Some work is done on-site at client’s location.
Skills:
- Proficient Microsoft 365 administration
- Advanced Windows 10 & 11 troubleshooting
- Azure AD knowledge
- Advanced network troubleshooting
- Hardware troubleshooting
- Familiarity of business class firewalls
- Troubleshooting of 3rd party apps (Citrix Workspace, QuickBooks, Sage 50, VPNs, etc)
- Strong communication skills and be able to provide excellent customer service to clients with IT issues
- Work well with colleagues to keep a great working environment
- 5 years minimum prior relevant experience required
- Document support requests and solutions provided in a clear and concise manner
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- A knowledge of security solutions for small to medium businesses
- Experience with backup solutions
- Email deliverability and security
- Windows Server knowledge
- Familiarity with Pax8, Syncro, ProofPoint, and other popular MSP platforms
- Knowledge of WatchGuard Firewalls, SentinelOne Endpoint Protection
- Highly organized to help keep service tickets in order
- Good judgment and have a sense of urgency
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Install, manage, and update IT management and monitoring tools.

Other Details:
- Regular working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with some flexibility for important projects or high-profile clients that may require occasional work after hours or weekends. While overtime may be needed at times, we will strive to ensure that it is kept to a minimum, and the employee's hard work and dedication will always be valued and appreciated.
- After a probationary period of 90 days, the employee will be eligible for benefits
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are requirements for this position, as the employee is required to reside within the Omaha Metro area to commute to the office daily, as we do not offer the option to work from home
- Employees will use a company-provided vehicle for client appointments

The owner started this company over 20 years ago servicing the Omaha Metro as a break and fix provider. Over the last 5 years, we have been moved to Managed IT Services and have converted many of our best clients to a managed IT plan.
