IT SUPPORT HELP-DESK
Location: Downtown Grand Rapids, MI
Regular Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (+ On-Call & Travel as requested/needed)
Status: Permanent, Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
Remote Status: In-Office; this position is not open to 100% remote work and you must be able to regularly commute to our locations within the Greater Grand Rapids area.
Travel: Yes; up to 10%, including local and nationwide travel.
SUMMARY
As an IT Support, you will be responsible for the implementation and support of devices, software, and systems to employees of a growing company. You will be the point of contact for technology related questions and requests. It will be your job to assist users in our company, and communicate with support staff of partner companies, to resolve any IT related issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Setup and maintenance of user accounts throughout different systems (Office 365 emails, Azure AD, POS systems, etc)
- Installation, deployment and tracking of computer systems and peripherals
- Remote or in-person diagnostics and repair
- Software troubleshooting of Windows 10 and installed applications
- Networking, both physical cabling and IP scheming
- Hardware troubleshooting of various laptops, desktops, printers, and other devices
- You will need to travel to other locations in and out of state.
- On-call for any and all IT issues.
- Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Azure AD, email, OneDrive, SharePoint)
- Windows 10
- Windows server and Active Directory
- iOS and Android phones
- Counterpoint (or other POS system)
- Hardware Firewall and policy management
- RMM/MDM system such as Pulseway or Connectwise
- Communication – timely and professional response in a friendly manner
- Organization – keeping tracking of hundreds of user accounts and devices
- Problem solving – there will be situations that there is no handbook on how to resolve. IT support must be able to create solutions where they did not previously exist

QUALIFICATIONS
- Office 365 Administration Experience (Outlook, Azure AD), Required
- Ticketing System Management Experience, Required (Zendesk, Preferred)
- Firewall/Network Management Experience, Required
- Remote Monitoring and Management Experience, Required (Pulseway, preferred)
- Email Security Administration Experience, Preferred (Mimecast is a plus)
- POS Experience, Preferred (Counterpoint is a plus)
- Ability to Travel: Some travel (locally & nationally) will be required, ~5%
