About this role
We're seeking an IT Support Specialist to serve as the face of internal support for our employees, contractors, and vendors. As the face of IT, you will meet and liaise with team members to get them started at Waymark, and you will be the triage point between our internal constituents and paths of escalation.
You will have experience working in a high-touch environment, with the ability to wear many hats, supporting teams within Waymark. You need to be proficient with Okta, macOS and ChromeOS with experience in systems administration and triaging support. In addition, you will have excellent written and oral communication skills, and understand identity and access management, and data privacy and security concepts.
Leveraging ITSM and automation tools, you will help scale IT solutions for our care delivery teams across the United States. In partnership with the Security Lead, you will develop a knack implementing security and compliance controls–both human and technical–enabling you to grow into a healthcare IT and security professional.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting innovative solutions while partnering with Waymark's Security & Compliance teams to support the Waymark environment, including automation, demonstrating software products, and cross-system integrations.
- Training and support of all personnel, aligning with our "less is more" strategy when it comes to third party applications and services (risk).
- Creative at handling ticketing and help desk requests, user onboarding and off-boarding
- Oversee how employee equipment is procured, provisioned, managed, and secured
- Lead and collaborate on cross-company projects and initiatives that impact end user computing solutions and experiences
- Liaise with stakeholders, such as Product, Clinical, Engineering and Compliance to incorporate business needs and stakeholder feedback into application designs
- Design automations and write code and scripts for SaaS applications, as well as maintaining and testing applications for risks
- Act as the primary point of contact and be the subject matter expert for SaaS escalations
- Optimize existing platforms, integrating new technologies and continuously evaluate applications to help build the future of community-centered care
Minimum qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in an Information Technology Support role
- Proficient with Okta, Google, Microsoft Office 365 or other centralized user management, SaaS/cloud-based software tooling
- Jamf or other remote macOS management, and vendor management
- Comfort working with geographically distributed partners and teams
- Outstanding customer empathy and collaboration skills
- A continual desire to learn, inform, evangelize and educate others through strong written and verbal communications
Preferred qualifications
- An exceptional ability to learn new technical skills fast, and master new problem domains, along with the flexibility and desire to seek new challenges
- Knowledge of AWS, GCP or other cloud platforms, Github, Linear and Asana
- Experience working within a healthcare/technology setting
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance: HIPAA/HITRUST, SOC 2
- Degree or Certification in Computer Science, Cloud Security
Salary Range: $51,000.00 - $86,250.00. Compensation will depend on multiple factors, including job location, training, education, and experience.
Benefits and Other Compensation: Medical, vision, dental, basic life insurance, and stock options available for the hired applicant. Employees also receive twenty (20) vacation days, accrued over the year and eleven (11) paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Sixteen (16) weeks of parental leave for birthing parents will also be available for use after successful completion of six (6) months of employment, eight (8) weeks of bonding leave for non-birthing parents. Employees are able to enroll in our 401(k) plan and commuter benefits plan.
