Purpose

Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the IT Director.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Direction

  • Perform work under direct supervision of an experienced professional and follow established procedures and clearly defined processes.

At the Operational and Company Level

  • Work closely with more senior staff members to learn and assist in Information Technology department.

Do the Work

  • Set up and deploy computer equipment.
  • Install software.
  • Schedule hardware repairs with vendors.
  • Maintain computer equipment inventory.
  • Miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

Education, Work Experience, Licensure/Certifications, and Technical Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Successfully completed the A+ CompTIA Core series certification
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a related field.
  • Proven success troubleshooting general computer hardware.
  • Ability to work effectively and communicate with employees of all levels both in person as well as on the telephone.
  • Experience with Microsoft operating systems.
  • Valid State Driver's License and ability to pass a motor vehicle check

Physical Demands and Working Environment

  • Primarily indoor professional office environment which may include bright/dim light, noise, fumes, odors, and traffic.
  • Mobility around an office environment.
  • Frequent and prolonged use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • Primarily local travel during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be required according to the needs of the business.
  • Occasional lifting or carrying up to 100 pounds.
  • Occasional pushing or pulling up to 100 pounds.
  • Occasional reaching outward or above shoulder.
