Janitor

Position Summary:
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the event center.

Responsibilities:

• Keep work area neat and organized.
• Conduct self in a professional manner at all times.
• Maintain a safe working environment and immediately report all unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a good working relationship with all departments.
• Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the property Employee Handbook.

Perform all other duties assigned.Qualifications:

• Janitorial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of chemicals and operation of industrial machines.
• Ability to:
• Work any day of the week and any hour.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Work as part of a team.
• Communicate effectively.
• Receive and follow both verbal and written instructions.
• Work well under pressure.

Dishwasher

Essential Functions:

• Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine
• Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine
• Unload dishes and utensils from dish machine and organize them properly
• Empty trash containers regularly
• Maintain a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping as needed
• Perform additional cleaning duties as requested
• Clean food prep stations and equipment
• Ensure that high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are always maintained throughout all kitchen areas
• Implement training to increase others knowledge about safety, sanitation and accident prevention principles
• Keep management informed of F&B issues as they arise

Qualifications:

• Possession of government required licenses or certificates
• Self-confident, proactive, and able to prioritize and make effective decisions
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Comfortable bending, climbing, reaching, stooping, and moving quickly
• Working knowledge of sanitation procedures

This position has two locations within blocks of each other downtown.

Steam Plant Restaurant - $15.74 plus tips

Montvale Event Center - $17.00
