JANITOR/MAINTENANCE HANDYMAN JOB DESCRIPTION:
A Janitor/Maintenance is responsible for maintaining a clean facility by completing various cleaning tasks. Your duties include mopping and vacuuming floors, cleaning surfaces with disinfectants, and emptying trash cans or recycling bins.
Also, as a Maintenance Handyman, you perform basic maintenance in the center. Duties include fixing company equipment or tools to ensure they work properly, painting, and basic electrical repairs..
JANITOR/MAINTENANCE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Janitor/Maintenance is in charge of keeping the workplace clean, organized, disinfected, and well-maintained. They usually have the following responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean work area at all times
- General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, etc.)
- Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows, and walls
- Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools, and phones
- Cleaning and maintaining restrooms
- Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed
- Maintain outdoor grounds
- Replace air filters and maintain HVAC systems
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Fix leaking faucets
- Fix dry walls
- Paint structures
- Check faulty electrical outlets and replace light ballasts
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good physical working condition
- Has basic electrical knowledge
- Can work part-time on the following schedule:
Option 1:
9am - 12pm Monday - Friday
8pm - 10pm Saturday Evenings (possibly 1:30pm - 3:30pm)
Option 2:
8pm - 10pm Monday - Thursday
6pm - 10pm Fridays
8pm - 10pm Saturdays (possibly 1:30pm - 3:30pm)
Willing to report at Florissant, Missouri
