The job of Job Coach - Part Time was established for the purpose/s of developing student/client training plans and instruct, train, and orient students regarding job duties and responsibilities; appropriate behavior; job skills and safety throughout the community at the job site.

Essential Functions:

• Communicates with student/client prior to initial placement for the purpose of explaining job expectations and duties.
• Conduct various job analysis (e.g. skills requires, tasks, job duties and responsibilities ) for the purpose of gauging appropriate placements.
• Facilitate relationships between coworkers, employer, employee for the purpose of ensuring positive and supportive communications.
• Monitor progress of student/client (e.g. regular on the job visits, logs of strengths, needs, strategies, performance and productivity) for the purpose of ensuring a successful student and placement.
• Perform work tasks not completed by student/client for the purpose of ensuring completion of the job. • Report problems and concerns to job coordinator for the purpose of reaching a timely resolution.
• Solve student/client related job difficulties at the job site for the purpose of maintaining ongoing student/client success.
• Teach student/client self evaluation methods for the purpose of maintaining a successful placement.
• Discuss appropriate grooming with students for the purpose of following established employer dress code.
• Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

Minimum requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Training experience in Job Coaching and/or experience with students with disabilities
• Ability to work some holidays, nights and weekends
• Must have a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and access to reliable vehicle
