Position Summary:

The Real Estate Financial Analyst position represents the opportunity to join an emergent brand poised to be a regionally dominant player, while being exposed to all aspects of the real estate pipeline from site selection through store openings.

Position Duties/Responsibilities:

· Analyzing and creating reports on the local real estate market and regional economy with respect to employment statistics, major company activities, industry trends, and demographics that affect the local real estate market

· Research potential site acquisition opportunities, including, but not limited to ownership, legal records, zoning, traffic information, permitting regulations, competition intrusion, and comparable sales. Collaborates with development consultants, as well as city, county, and state officials to obtain information about potential or existing sites

· Track development projects in the real estate pipeline against multiple concurrent timelines from due diligence to opening

· Review third-party reports (e.g., ALTA Survey, Zoning Report, Phase I/II, Geotech) for site-level due diligence and report key findings to the real estate team

· Coordinate cross-functionally for internal approval processes related to real estate processes

• Participate in real estate committee meetings to discuss site pipeline
• Lead property management initiatives from lease administration, renewals, and servicing
• Track project-level spend against pre-determined budgets for given sites
• Create site reporting packages for lenders, development partners, or internal stakeholders
• Support the real estate function with ad-hoc special project responsibilities

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Strong communication skills to read, listen, understand, and communicate information and ideas in a clear and understandable manner, both orally and in writing
• Strong negotiating skills and the ability to critically review legal documents to reflect negotiated transactions
• 0-3 years’ experience in either Real Estate or Finance
• An ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize multiple concurrent workstreams
• Thrives in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, and lean environment
• Ability to work independently
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to travel as needed and spend time in the field

Salary – DOE $70,000-$75,000 plus bonus
