We are a remote-based marketing team looking for a go-getter to learn and implement our processes to hit the ground running.
As the junior web developer, you will be a part of the “Systems Development” team where you will assist in the development, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of new and existing websites and web applications. You will report to, and work closely with, the technology and development manager on a day-to-day basis. However, your ability to spot problems and see them through to resolution with minimal oversight is a necessity.
Our ideal candidate is proactive, has a strong understanding of front-end development with a great eye for design, does not hesitate to reach out if something is unclear, and can prioritize their workload in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Skills and Abilities:
  • Solid experience in front-end development using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Experience developing mockups and wireframes in Adobe Illustrator or equivalent programs.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
  • Solid understanding of WordPress or equivalent CMS/WYSIWYG editor.
  • Strong understanding of the development life cycle.
  • Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility.
  • Intermediate-level or better in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Intermediate-level or better in Google Sheets and Google Documents.
  • Proficient on Mac & Windows platforms.
  • Knowledge of any of the following a plus: PHP, MySQL, Amazon Web Services.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Degree in computer science OR
  • Significant work experience and completion of technical courseware applicable to a degree in computer science.
