About the Position:

The company is seeking a financial analyst to assist with evaluating various projects and investments that will help direct company strategy.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· General knowledge of financial analysis, ability to research complex topics and communicate findings both written and orally.

· Analyze investment projects to determine recommendations.

· Forecast future trends in the industry with respect to investments, stocks, and other data.

· Forecast different scenarios and ways to deal with each potential outcome.

· Develop risk profiles for any acquisitions or projects.

· Compile data in organized reporting systems for analysis.

· Prepares reports and projections based on analyses.

· Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.

· Improves financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to management.

· Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.

· Maintains databases by entering, verifying, and backing up data.

· Increases productivity by developing automated accounting applications and coordinating information requirements.

· Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

· Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing results as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

· Excellent analytical, critical thinking problem-solving skills

· Strong understanding of business finance and analytics

· Good research and technical skills

· Excellent organizational and project management skills

· Great interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written

· Ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner

· Ability to quickly grasp new concepts

· Expert in using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Education and Experience Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in finance business analytics or related business field is required

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position

· Preferably with some experience in the media sector.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
