Junior Graphic Designer Job at Bronco Wine Company
JOB STATEMENT: Bronco Wine Company is a family-owned and operated winery in Ceres built on a passion for winemaking and rooted in respect for the land. This is an hourly full-time position, that will provide digital and print art work for National Sales. Bronco Wine Company also offers a competitive compensation package that will include an automobile mileage reimbursement plan, technology plan, matching 401k and profit-sharing program upon qualification, and healthcare benefit plan. This position is based in Napa, CA.
Essential Duties:
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials
- Collaborate with sales representatives and suppliers on sales aid projects
- Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
- Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval by requested sales representative or supplier
- Prepares finished copy and art by providing POS department for final printing
- Completes projects by coordinating with sales reps, suppliers and customers
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies
- Contributes to team effort by completing tasks and meeting representatives and customers’ needs
- Over time, provide graphic design services to other departments of Bronco Wine Company
- Actively contribute to the company/team culture of communication, collaboration and creativity
- Stay current with industry design trends
Qualifications/Requirements
Education/Experience:
- Degree in Graphic Design or related field
- At least 2 years industry experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Have excellent time management
- Maintain accuracy to detail
- Strong computer/IT skills
- Communication design
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Sit for an extensive period of time
- Perform tasks using standard computer equipment
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Limited noise level
- Indoor climate
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:
- Side shield safety glasses, safety vest, head/ear protection and proper footwear when in production facility
