Phoebe Ministries, a not-for-profit, multi-facility organization specializing in health care, housing, and rehabilitative services for older adults is seeking an experienced Junior Network Administrator who will be responsible for helping to maintaining the organization’s networks and who is interested in joining our dedicated team at our Allentown campus.

Skills crucial to success in this role:
- Monitor systems for required updates and patches
- Monitor disk utilization, perform upgrades to, and support the SAN and VMware environment.
- Assess and make recommendations for network security using available methods from Microsoft and Cisco.
- Assist the Network Administrator with performing necessary support and upgrades to the Cisco wireless network infrastructure.
- Assess and enforce operational monitoring. Respond to findings relating to error, usage, and penetration logs. Document and report threats.
- Manage anti-virus software, signatures and inoculations.
- Respond to tier-two help-desk requests. Monitor and document issues in helpdesk software system.
- Provides day to day support and troubleshooting of Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
- Attentive and actively prevent security and privacy threats internally and externally including virus and internal misuse of resources.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or related field and/or commensurate experience and certifications.
- Typing skills required.
- Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
- Experience configuring and supporting Cisco & Meraki firewall, switches, routers, LAN/WAN/WLAN, VoIP, and virtual network, required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Server, Activate Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Antivirus, SEIM and Group Policy.
