Junior Producer/Traffic Coordinator (Hourly/Temp) Job at Ketchum
Overview
The Traffic Coordinator supports the Digital team by helping to coordinate the fulfillment of creative projects by ensuring success throughout the project’s entire life cycle. Interfaces with creative leads and account teams to confirm vision alignment and overall work quality. Oversees daily communication amongst all design team members to forecast availability and billability with other production team members. Leads new business communication and status of incoming project load.
About the Job
- Oversee the development and timely flow of project deliverables, ensuring they are aligned with project goals, and drive creative work to completion on time including print and digital needs
- Liaise with senior producers/production managers to effectively prioritize demands of the different practice units
- Manage contractors and vendors on an as-needed basis, ensuring consistent setup with finance, HR and IT
- Coordinates design, print and vendor estimates, manage team employee availability and billability with creative and production directors
- Works across all levels to help assign designers and coordinate workflow, coordinates between designers and account teams
- Follows up with designers on job progress and with account team for deadlines/necessary information, and with printers and outside vendors on job progress
- Share responsibility for new business efforts while liaising with new business development team to identify core needs and resource alignment
- Provide regular feedback to supervisors regarding design and production team performance
- Help support the creative process and ensure each process is adhered to and enforced throughout the network
- Supports creative team with the day-to-day coordination and management of digital/interactive/design production projects, through production, completion, and budgeting.
- Oversees daily project timelines
- Prioritizes projects and deliverables in partnership with digital and account staff
- Attends team status meetings and prepares team update reports daily
Operations:
- Ensure quality and consistency of all processes and protocols to achieve business goals and alignment with Ketchum policy (i.e., project management, staffing, internal communication)
- Oversee management of freelancers/vendors, and execution of POs and invoices
- Manage daily communication of project status across all levels
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience. Agency experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint, required.
- Knowledge of project management principles, processes and software
- A solid understanding of the lifecycle of small digital and print projects

The salary range for this position is $25/hr to $30/hr. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, past training, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity and local geographic market data.
