Experienced kitchen manager needed for a long-term care facility located in Troy, AL.

1. Report to the Manager

2. Report to work on time and in proper attire.

3. Speak to fellow staff members and Manager with respect and dignity.

4. Do Daily Walk through. Advise staff of any issues.

5. Follow daily job duties list.

6. Make sure all food is prepared properly.

7. Check Temperature Charts Daily upon beginning shift.

8. Check all stored food & liquid for dates and labels and use by dates.

9. Responsible for tray-line starting and ending on time.

10. Accuracy of tray-line.

11. Menu posted daily.

12. Make sure the kitchen and surrounding areas are kept clean and sanitized. All tables and preparation areas must be cleaned, wiped down and sanitized on a daily basis. Cleanliness ensures no germs are transferred to the food which could result in a resident or employee becoming sick or ill.

13. Monitor staff as they carry out duties

14. Sanitation rounds daily.

15. Daily dietary check off list from 1st to 2nd shift.

16. Responsible for making sure daily cleaning is completed by employees and logs are signed.

17. Menus are posted for Cooks and Aides with extensions DAILY.

18. DEEP CLEANING ONCE A WEEK

19. Come in early on stock day to help put up stock.

20. Help train new / existing employees.

21. Print Tray Cards Daily.

22. Responsible for helping cover shifts when coverage is needed.

23. If things need to be checked when Manager is not available YOU will need to be available to go in.

24. Help relieve staff for lunch( if needed).

25. Report any problems to Manager immediately.

26. Always consult with the manager any need for counseling staff.

27. Consult with the manager the need to schedule meetings with the staff.

28. Assist the manager with in-services as needed.

29. THE LIST OF JOB DUTIES IS SUPJECT TO CHANGE AND OTHE JOB DUTIES AS ASSIGNED. HOURS MAY VARY DUE TO DIFFERENT CIRCUMSTANCES.
