What's the Tea?

We are looking for a strong team player to join us as a Kitchen team member to prepare food from our lovely curated Kung Fu Tea menu. This role requires ample energy in a fast-paced environment, good team communication, and absolutely perfect for anyone who is willing and waiting to be engulfed by fresh tea and fried chicken every day.

No Experience Is Necessary

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic people who enjoy serving guests. We will teach you everything else you need to know.

About the job:

This position will ensure company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation, making food that tastes great and is consistent from day to day, maintaining the freshest products and best services delivered to each customer; following and comprehending the importance of proper personal hygiene and sanitation procedures:

• Work in various food prep areas: Breading, Prep, Line, Fry Station, Dishwashing.
• Develop positive work relationships with restaurant staff and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times and display a positive and enthusiastic approach at all times throughout your shift.
• Demonstrate a complete understanding of the menu.
• Demonstrate the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while providing a quality product and excellent customer service at all times.
• Handle all food-related, storage and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards that comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures.
• Maintain a calm demeanor, especially during periods of high volume, to preserve a positive work environment and a hospitable experience for our guests.

About You:

You are someone who has..:

• Previous kitchen and frying experience is always a plus
• Ability to work with schedule flexibility
• Good physical stamina – able to lift up to 50 lbs of restaurant equipment
• Team player
• Punctual; reliable; responsible
• Part-time availability must be able to work 20+ hrs/wk
• Full-time availability must be able to work 30-40 hrs/wk

Base salary $16.50 + cash tips (averaging $4.00 per hour).

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
