CSH is a 277 bed inpatient psychiatric hospital led by a team committed to the pursuit of excellence in serving individuals with mental health needs. We aim to support the wellness and safety of individuals and their communities throughout the Commonwealth. What a typical day looks like:
- Prepare utensil/food service equipment sanitation
- Packages items for shipment to patients/individuals residential areas of Central State Hospital and Hiram W. Davis Medical Center
- Maintain safety standards at all times
Minimum Qualifications
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Ability to perform manual labor and tasks such as bending, stooping, and lifting
- Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
- Ability to perform sanitation tasks such as cleaning floors, food service equipment and other work areas
- Experience with safe food preparation techniques and handling practices, and experience with proper sanitation requirements
Preferred Qualifications
We’re excited if you also have:
- A high school diploma or GED
- Experience in a large food service operation
- Valid Commonwealth of Virginia driver’s license
