Work on Boise State campus! We are currently hiring for the Spring semester. Meraki is in the ILC (Interactive Learning Center). We work around school, parent, and second job schedules. We are family and Greek owned, (not a Corporate Giant!), and truly value each and every employee. Currently, we have an amazing team but are looking to add to it. Our passion is serving the best gyros and Greek food to Boise State’s students and staff!
KITCHEN TEAM MEMBER ROLE
Candidates must be able to take the heat in the kitchen. Experience in high volume, high quality cooking/prepping is a plus, but we will train candidates with no experience. Good prep and knife skills are also preferred, as most items are made from scratch (however, again - we will train!). Expect hot surfaces, cleaning, doing dishes, attention to food quality and a customer satisfaction mindset. Good hygiene and sanitation knowledge required. In addition to daily prep, Kitchen Team Members will be fulfilling orders that come in at high volume during peak periods. They will also show the ability to multi-task, have a sense of urgency with short ticket times, and remain composed and professional during periods of high volume and unexpected challenges. Our kitchen is very small with only two Cooks scheduled at a time. The goal for every hire is to be able to work effectively alone in the kitchen (after being fully trained), especially during our slower periods. Our menu is also very simple so the job is both easy and fun!
SCHEDULING: Enjoy weekends off! We are open 5 days a week (Mon-Fri), and primarily need shifts filled Mon-Thurs between 11a-7p, and 12-4p on Fridays.

- Must be team oriented, self-motivated, honest, and hard-working.
- Passionate about teamwork and communication. Ability to develop positive working relationships with all co-workers.
- Maintain a positive, calm attitude during times of high volume and challenges.
- Be able to follow directions for recipe and sanitation guidelines. Effectively build food orders, do basic food prep, and dishwashing.
- Reliable and punctual (inconsistent attendance, sleeping in, hung-over, often sick... it just doesn't work for us!)
- Growth Mindset! We are in the process of growing and opening other locations where we will need to fill management and leadership roles. 95% of our Meraki Leaders started off as Cooks and Team Members. Sky's the limit!
