The Food Service Worker will report to the Program Manger and will be responsible for assisting in all kitchen operations for RPK including planning, preparing, and executing meal production, inventory management, maintaining a food safety plan and executing menu and recipe standards.

Essential Job Functions (this is not the job description in its entirety):

• Adhere to culinary standards and regulations and that all product goes out in a timely manner at the required temperature.
• Create recipe specs and standards.
• Plan menus, maintaining financial responsibility for the menu mix.
• Analyze menu, food costs and the preparation of cost and quality efficient menus/specials.
• Assist in preparing reports regarding food and menu analysis.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns personal.
• Design new menu selections for the Cafe based on donations, seasonal ingredients, and guest demand, showcase affinity for and knowledge of local product.
• Maintain effective vendor relationships.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to drive agency vehicle.
• Possess valid auto insurance.
• Valid Food Handler's Card
• Experience working in a professional kitchen.
• Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Pass required background checks.
