Waypoint Analytical is among the top 50 environmental labs in the United States and is arguably the largest agricultural laboratory group. Headquartered in Memphis, TN and with 14 full-service environmental and agriculture laboratories throughout the U.S.

The Project Manager will be responsible for preparing and presenting progress updates to appropriate management channels on a consistent basis. You will have the opportunity to work with teams of professionals in completing projects by a set deadline to uphold Waypoint Analytical’s business initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

· Direct experience with environmental programs in Louisiana and Mississippi preferred

· Act as primary contact/liaison between Waypoint and our client

· Monitor project schedule, progress, and deadlines

· Provide customers with information regarding quotations, laboratory schedule, capabilities, methods, sample requirements and sample containers when necessary

· Verify and validate laboratory data as required

· Serve as the primary contact to outside testing laboratories.

· Communicate with laboratory management and clients to keep project aligned with goals

Some of the additional traits our candidate would need to possess include:

· Associate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Project Management

· Minimum 2 years previous experience in project management and client services

· Strong analytical or related technical knowledge preferred

· Prior experience within environmental laboratory environment

· Exceptional time management, communication, and presentation skills required
